Hi, I’m Christy
I found illustration after graduating with a degree in Multimedia Telecommunication & Digital Design. As someone that had worked retail and bartending all her life, I didn’t even know what an illustrator was. One art class and a hand-drawn hot dog animation later, I fell in love with illustration and never looked back.
Right after college, I was able to create flyers, characters, logos, and a couple of children’s books. I soon realized that creating unique illustrations and helping others bring their ideas to life was my passion.
In the restaurant business you treat customers like they’re guests in your home. You take care of them like you would family and never let anyone leave the table hungry or unhappy. In retail, no matter if you have 1 customer or 500, you give everyone your fully undivided attention and never let anyone feel as if they’re less than the person in-front or behind them. All of this has helped me in my illustration work and gives me a special connection with the clients I’m privileged to work with.
